This tour starts in the historical capital Willemstad. Visitors will then have the opportunity to taste the blue curacao liqueur at the Chobolobo plantation house. After that, the tour will continue to the eastern area of the island to take some pictures of the table mountain view and other local areas. We’ll make a stop at the sea aquarium to see several shows including the dolphin and sea lion shows
Begin your day with a scenic drive past St. Anna Bay, an inlet that divides the capital city, Willemstad, into two separate regions. Enjoy views of the Rif Fort, a fort built in 1828 to protect the city that is now home to numerous restaurants and shops.
Next you’ll see the unusual Queen Emma Bridge, a beautiful floating pontoon bridge that moves to allow vessels to enter the bay. Your guide will regale you with historical facts about the buildings, forts, and bridges as you drive through the city.
Afterward we will move across the Queen Juliana Bridge, the highest bridge in the Caribbean and make a stop to take some photos of the panoramic views of the bay. Soon after, you’ll arrive at the plantation house, Landhuis Chobolobo, for a tour of the liqueur factory, where you can see how authentic “Blue Curacao Liqueur” is made while enjoying some tasty samples.
Your next stop brings you to the Table Mountain and Spanish Water viewpoint, where you can take more photos of the magnificent harbor and hear your guide’s telling of the island’s discovery.
